The handover is where equipment disappears

A register says what you own. Equipment checkout software records the moment responsibility changes. KitLog gives every loan a named holder, a date and an audit trail — then helps you get the item back.

What changes with KitLog

Two-click equipment checkout

Choose an item and a person, add the due-back date and condition, then confirm the handover.

Due-back reminders

Overdue equipment is surfaced to administrators and return reminders can be sent without maintaining a separate calendar.

Condition at both ends

Record scratches, missing accessories or other notes at checkout and again when the item returns.

People, teams, bundles and events

Issue one laptop, a reusable equipment bundle or an event kit while keeping a named person accountable.

A simple working routine

  1. Choose the equipment
Find the asset by name, tag or serial number and open its checkout action.
  2. Name the responsible person
Select the holder, add condition notes and set the due-back date if the loan is temporary.
  3. Return it cleanly
Mark the item returned, capture its condition and keep the completed loan in the permanent history.

Can I record equipment condition?
Yes. Add condition notes when equipment goes out and when it comes back, preserving both in its history.
Is this GPS device tracking?
No. KitLog tracks custody, assignments and returns. It does not collect live GPS location data.
